Travel light from Main Beach
Kidchella is held at 2 Esplanade, Surfers Paradise. The organiser recommends public transport or active travel and notes that parking may be limited. Cavill Avenue is the nominated G:link stop.
From Contessa, the light rail is about a 15-minute walk. Surfers Paradise is a five-minute drive when the car suits the family better, though event traffic and central parking need to be allowed for. Either way, the return leads out of the event precinct and back to Main Beach’s residential streets.
Pack for an outdoor day: water, hats, sunscreen and clothes that can move between the Art Studio, sand and skate zone. There is no admission ticket to keep track of and no fixed arrival session, which leaves room to set off when the morning is ready.
